The Carlton Arms was situated on Carlton Way. This pub closed following a fire in December 2010.
This pub reopened in July 2011.

Carlton Way runs north from Gilbert Road, and the Carlton Arms isn't very far up it. It was built at the same time as the surrounding estate. Three or four real ales at a time. Huge landscape of sofas in the no-smoking half. Real coffee. And food, now. It looks promising, but I'd already eaten.
