George IV

The George IV was situated at the south corner of East Street and Staffordshire Street. An Irish lady by the name of Molly Hogg ran it in the early 1950s, I think she also ran it as a boarding house. Previously c.1935, she ran The Haymakers at Chesterton. She was my godmother. This pub closed in 1959.
