The Lamb was situated on the High Street. This pub was present by 1876 when the publican was James Twinn. It was rebuilt c1906 following a fire, and closed in 1978. It is now in residential use.

My great ,great grand father, Cecil Butfield was a publican, at this pub between 1928 -1938 approximately. There was also,a sweet shop on the premises. Great grandpa was a tall man, quite imposing with a huge mustashe and a booming voice , as he drove a pony and trap through the village of West Wratting. I believe he served in the the Royal Marines, during ww1.
