Travellers Rest

The Travellers Rest was situated on Chesterfield Road.

This pub was built around 1830, as the original coach house & stables on the main road between Chesterfield and Sheffield. I've been told it was converted to a pub for the period of [roughly] 1900-1940 by the name of the Travellers Rest, which was probably a nod to the buildings' original purpose. It is now in residential use.
