I am 80. I remember visiting my Uncle Norman and Aunty Sadie who ran
this pub. Norman Foster was one of my mum’s brothers. The Foster family
was from Haswell. I remember going to the cinema over the road to see
The Red Beret with their son, Bobby? He had a sister. My mum was called
Doris Jackson, husband Harry. We lived in Billingham when we visited
them. My dad worked at ICI. |
