The Marlborough Head was situated at 46 St Botolphs Street. This former Truman’s pub was established before 1764 and rebuilt in around 1914.  The licence was given up in 1956 to allow for the opening of the new Ancient Briton pub on the edge of town. The former pub is now in retail use.
