The Belle Vue Hotel was situated at 55 High Street / Berkeley Place. This pub was present by 1851 when the publican was Benjamin Thomas, who was also an auctioneer and wine merchant. It was later called the Berkeley and then the Irving Hotel. Now demolished, it is the site of the Cedar Court flats.
