The Queens Head was situated at 11
South Street. This grade-II listed pub was later known as The Ducking Stool and is now used
as a bar called The Ducker Bar. |

House, now inn. Later C18, with C20
alterations. Render to ground floor; painted brick; Welsh slate roof; brick
stack to right front. Three storeys and cellar; two-window range:
eight/eight sashes (C20 six/six to left) under grooved stucco lintels;
four/four sashes under grooved stucco lintels; brick dentilled eaves. C20
inn-front, with six-panel door and overlight under four-centred arch, in
plain architrave, to left; leaded light with panel over; to right, canted
leaded light with clerestory lights, under four-centred arch; band over. |
