Nev Andrews 1965/1970 The pub was run by Harry and his wife Toots. Harry was employed by Wimpey Construction who were working at the Isle Of Grain.
Through this nearly all of his customers were Irish construction workers from Wimpeys building the Power Station.. They were a great bunch of guys and had a great Darts Team. The Pub itself had no spirit licence and was beer only. Although my wife always had her G and T there.
