The Royal Victoria was situated at 1 Parrock Street. This beerhouse opened in 1849 when it was known as The Flowerpot. In 1889 it changed its name to The Royal Victoria. From 1919 until closure in 1990 it was known as The Royal Victoria Shades. Now used as a nightclub (see photo below).
