The Angel was situated at the junction of North Street and the HighStreet. The pubs history in recent years has been patchy with it it frequently being closed. The freehold is available and the pub is up for sale at £220,000, as at July 2010. The white building to the left is the now closed Three Gardeners.

This pub is now used as an estate agents.
