Dog Inn

The Dog Inn was situated on Revidge Road. In the 19th century this pub was owned by William Smalley who owned a strip of land from The Dog down to what is now Granville Road , known as the Teanbarn Estate.

As Blackburn Rovers' football ground was in the area of Granville Road in the 1880s , in 1887, the Rovers ' Football Club paid rates to the trustees of William Smalley.  In 1908 Alice Smalley, 162 Leamington Road Blackburn conveyed the property to the Fountain Free Brewery Co Ltd, to be passed onto Thwaites in 1927 and transferred to Bass in 1980. The Dog Inn is now used as an Islamic centre.
