The Sun Hotel was situated at 96 Featherstall Road. This pub is now used as an Italian restaurant.

I was a guest nat the Sun Hotel, for nearly one year, 1968, to 1969. At the time worked as a volonteer at the Lanctan Tannery in Littleborough. As far as I remember, the Hotel / Pub was run / owned by Clifford Bradford. He had a son ( who was at the military service at that time) and a daughter. Donīt remember their names. Had a fantastic time during my stay, being a 19 year old youngster at the time. Made a couple of very good friends; they were daily customer at the pub. Only remember one name, Kenneth Platt , who , besides, also worked at Lanctan.
