Karl Pritchard	1962	In the early 1960s just below the Royal on the corner of Yorkshire Street was a coffee bar - The Log Cabin where a large group of us congregated almost every night. We tended to drift up to the Royal most nights. At that time the landlord and his wife Stan and Flo always made us welcome. I do recall that although we were a pretty large group of teenagers there was never ever any trouble in the pub.
