The Black Bull was situated at 30 Nelson Street and has now been demolished.

In 1871 the landlord was William Swaby, followed by H. Roughton. Others included Job Woods, George W. Sykes, James Westacott, H.S. North, Mary Harrison, George Burgess and Titus Burgess.
