Black Bull

The Black Bull was situated at 92 West End. This grade-II listed pub is now in residential use.
 

 
Listed building details:
Former public house, now house. 1821 with C20 alterations. Red brick in English garden wall bond of 3. Concrete tiled roof. 2 red brick gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storey, 6 bay front, the left hand 3 bays are a near contemporary addition. Off-centre planked door flanked by single windows. To left a further planked door and 2 windows. To first floor are 4 windows. All windows are 3 light glazing bar casements with segmental heads. Above the right hand door is an ashlar datestone with the initials "LT" and the date 1821. Beyond to the left is a single storey single bay pent roofed service block containing a single window and timber lacing course.
