The Village At Plaistow was situated at 140 Balaam Street. Previously called the Red Lion and Phantom & Firkin, it was closed in 1996 and demolished in 2002 to be replaced by the commercial building in the above photo. Publican in 1901 and 1911 was Robert Irons.
