Dukes Motto

The Dukes Motto was situated at 137 Brick Lane. This was a pub from around 1855 until at least 1962, its appearance suggesting that it was rebuilt in the 1920s or 1930s.  It had closed by the early 1980s and is now used as a clothes shop.
