Hobby Horse

The Hobby Horse was situated at 281 Kingsland Road. This pub was previously known as the Victory. In 1899 the publican was Alfred Mills, in 1921 it was Charles Berry.
This pub started life before 1839 as the Victory.  In recent years it has been through several names, including Nice Little Earner, Oarsman,  CK Bar and Melange.  It is currently open and trading as Hobby Horse.  There have been periods of closure between each recent incarnation of the pub.

This pub has now reopened and reverted to its old name of the Victory.

. . . and now its closed again. Known as The Paradise at time of closure.

Now used as a gay / music bar called The Glory
