Queen Adelaide

The Queen Adelaide was situated at 481-483 Hackney Road. This pub was present on Hackney Road by 1834.  By 1983 it had become a free house and was re-named the Hop Picker – a name which lasted through the 1980s.  By 1992 it had been renamed again, this time Tantrums.  The next renaming came in 1994, when the name became Images.  No longer really a pub, Images is a ‘Gentleman’s Club.

Now reopened as a pub under its original name of The Queen Adelaide.
