The Three Loggerheads was situated at 57
Virginia Road.
This pub was present by 1722,
initially as the Two
Loggerheads. It was a Watney’s Brewery pub and in around 1990 it was
renamed Turtles.
A name change like that usually signals the beginning of the end, and this
pub closed in 1999 for conversion to private residential use. |
