New Pegasus, Stoke Newington

The New Pegasus was situated in Greens Lane, N16. The pub is now a Turkish social club. It closed in the 1990s. Chas n Dave owned the pub and it is where Johnny Rotten was stabbed.

Glenn Matto 1992 My band played there in January 1992
Robbie Furlong 1974/1975 Played in the resident band we played 7 nights a week there. I was the guitar player in the band. Also Dave Golding, Alan Harris, Kathy on Keyboards.
Derek Barrett 1995 I bought and sold the pub for residential development on the car park
John Murphy 1970s I played with a band there in the 70s called Lager and Lime with Norman Green and drummer Kenny Lambe and Arthur Regis on Keyboards and Peter ? On bass. My old mucker Robbie Furlong was also in the band at one time. The pub was ran that time by a Jim Gavin. Great night's I remember having there.
