The Lord Clyde was situated at 3 Bethwin Road. This pub closed c2001. It has now been demolished and replaced by a block of flats.

John Gilbody c1975 My Uncle Tom & auntie Marge were landlords. My mum& dad bill & Doreen ran the pub when they went on holiday. I boxed for hollington boys club locally in comber grove. Customers I recall. Ernie & mauld. Dave the lump. Ernie the rag& bone man. Eddie, always fighting. My boxing trainers Barry frances. Terry Mancini. Terry- trainer. Both black cabbies. My uncle Alf sold crap in car park on a Saturday. Long live the name lord Clyde & shandy bass!!
