The Hoop

The Hoop was situated at 83 Notting Hill Gate. This pub is now used as a restaurant.
The Hoop is mentioned in a reprint of Nairn's London (first published 1966). Nairn describes it back then as "the best modern pub interior in London" and lists Roger Radford (1960) as responsible for it. So, allowing for writing, editing and publishing Nairn's book, the pub was still around into the mid 60s.
