Churchills was situated at 59 Mount Pleasant  This pub had previously been known as The Pillar Box and The Thunderer. The latter name was after to the pre-Wapping offices of the Times which were round the corner in Grays Inn Road. Churchills was closed and demolished in the early 2000s and a block of flats built on the site..
