The Seven Tankards was situated at 242-245 High Holborn. This pub was demolished in 1857. Replaced with Weston's Music Hall, later Holborn Empire. Bombed in World War II and subsequently demolished in 1960, now the site of a modern office block and branch of Waitrose. This pub may also have been known as the Six Cans & Punchbowl.
