The Blue Bell was situated on Mansfield Road.
Following rejection of plans for demolition and new build of five three-bed town houses, and an apartment block, further plans were submitted in 2022 to convert the building into two two-story houses. However, the pub suffered fire damage in the early hours of 3 Jan 2024, and there was evidence of forced entry to the building.

This pub was known, around 1955 , as Harry Storer's after the Derby County footballer and manager who was at one time the tenant. That part of Mansfield Road was at that time was called Forest Side.
