David Andrews	2008-2009	I was the last licensee at The Ship. It had lost its license so I had to reapply. It came through in December and I was told to re-open immediately. Despite not being in a busy area and with the Christmas holidays on us the brewery seemed to disregard the fact that it would be a quiet period. I had loads of bookings for the skittle alley and new lounge from February but they decided to close in January for 'low takings'.
