The Old Ship was situated on Uckfield Road. This pub closed in May 2014 and is now in residential use. It was previously known as The Stewards Enquiry.

Name Dates Comments Mark Burdass 2004/2014 The Old ship was owned by my parents Lynne and Michael Burdass for 10 years. I worked in the Kitchen as a chef for a couple of years. Many things done well; the food and the beer for example but the business eventually folded after the pub's footfall dropped after the smoking ban.
