The Somerset Arms was situated at 74 High Street. This pub closed in 2023.

In March 2026 Locals formed the Semington Community Benefit Society to attempt to buy and re-open the pub. It has been reported that HRH Prince of Wales, William, has donated £1,000 towards a community fund to try to re-open the pub.
