    | The Sun was situated on Tyrrel Street. This
pub was present by 1771. It gave its name to a nearby bridge over Bradford
Beck - Sun Bridge, and the area was then known as Sunbridge. Now demolished,
the footprint of the pub is occupied by the Prudential Building which is now
    used as a Co-op bank. |
