The White Hart was situated at 85 Thornton Road. This pub was on Thornton Road at the corner with Cooper Street (which no longer exists). It was present by 1861 when the landlord was Benjamin Schofield Horsfall, in 1863 George Womack, in 1881 & 1887 Peter Wardman, and in 1901 Joseph Johnson. The pub is labelled P.H. on the 1921/22 O.S. map, but the building does not exist on the 1958 map.
