The Denholme Gate Inn was situated on Halifax Road, and is now used as apartments.

My great great grandfather Arthur Wray is shown as the publican of the Denholme Gate Inn on 1881 census.  He must have moved from there prior to 1884 as my great grandfather Percival Wray was born in the Ring O’ Bells pub in Shipley, which I understand is still open.
