The Saw was situated on Spen Lane.
It seemed to be out in a limb and limped on throughout my
life. I only went in it once on a Saturday night to be the only guy in
there! I reckon it closed in 2016? Seems creepy with the chairs and bar
still there ( pic was taken from the pavement) and an ad for a tea party.
Sadly its future looks as gloomy as the Yorkshire January day I took the
pic. Vandalism and decay have set in and I guess demolition for new houses
or reuse as flats beckons. |
