The Flying Scotsman was situated on Station Road. This pub was previously known as The Station Hotel.

The last occasion I went in here and asked for a pint, c1962, the landlord picked up a used glass from the bar and was about to pour when I protested. He said 'I knew who used it last and he's clean'.
