Carpenters Arms, Skirlaugh, Yorkshire

The Carpenters Arms was situated at the southe end of the village and closed in 1968. The publican in 1893 was William Lee.
My great great grandfather, Josiah Johnson, ran this pub between 1851 and 1871 but then he must have died and passed it onto his son Charles. Charles must have died sometime between 1881 and 1888 as his wife remarried in 1888.
