The Alice Hawthorne is now used as a private dwelling. Publican in 1851,1861 and 1871 was John Bolton; in 1881, 1891 and 1901, his son William.

Peter Leadley 1960/1980 My father, FG Leadley was the tenant of the Alice Hawthorn Inn. He was the last one as the brewery (Cameron's) were selling properties and not renewing tenancies.
