The Globe Inn was situated on Smith Street. This pub was present by 1852 when Robert Hurrell was publican. It is now used as a holiday cottage.

VALUABLE FREEHOLD INN, DARTMOUTH To be SOLD or LET for a term of 7 years, all that valuable and well known inn, called THE GLOBE, situate in the most eligible part of Dartmouth, possession to be had at midsummer next. For which purpose a survey will be held on the premises, the 6th day of June next, if not previously disposed of by private contract, of which notice will be given. For further particulars, apply to the proprietor, James Traies, Bermondsey Square, London or of Mr Wm. Masters, Dartmouth.
