The Globe Inn was situated on Smith Street. This pub was present by 1852 when Robert Hurrell was publican. It is now used as a holiday cottage.

VALUABLE FREEHOLD INN, DARTMOUTH
To be SOLD or LET for a term of 7 years, all that valuable and well known inn, called THE GLOBE, situate in the most eligible part of Dartmouth, possession to be had at midsummer next.
For which purpose a survey will be held on the premises, the 6th day of June next, if not previously disposed of by private contract, of which notice will be given.
