Two Fighting Cocks, Barking, Essex

 


The Two Fighting Cocks, or Fighting Cocks, is mentioned in various records from 1732 to 1787. It had ceased to be a pub by 1787. It is believed that Jeremy Bentham, founder of University College, London visited here as a boy.
