Anchor & Hope

The Anchor & Hope was situated at 56 Threefield Lane. This pub closed in 2006 and was demolished to be replaced by housing.
This pub was present by the 1840s when the publican was James Cave. Leased to Eldridge Pope in 1875, a refurbishment in 1994 brought the decor in line with the age of the building.
