The Blacksmiths Arms was situated at 66 Lennox
Road North. This pub was demolished in the 1970s to make way for a Waitrose
supermarket. Publican in the 1970s was Doris Masters. |

Frequented the place between 1968 and 1971 as it
was located about 100yds from our digs. On one of the beams Reg Smythe had
drawn an Andy Capp-style cartoon of the Landlady and her husband. |

happy evenings there. Highbury Technical College ,Anglesey Road ,Hotel
and Catering Department. Pammy Dunn ,David Waters ,Simon Ford etc. |
