The Esplanade was situated on South Parade. Also known as Fanshawes, the hotel side closed in 1976. However thet pub was popular with clubbers during the 1980’s & 1990’s, trading as “Frisco’s” “Tangerine Suite” “White Room” & finally “Bar Blu” before closure.
