The Bricklayers Arms was situated at 20 Newbury Street. This pub was later known as The Yeoman. It is now in residential use.

The Yeoman was a pleasant and lively pub, which also used to put on live music. In the mid 1980's a resident moved into one of the houses opposite the pub, who would call the Police to complain whenever live music was on; eventually the owner (as I understand it) got fed up with the resident's harassment and closed the pub. It was a good and well-run pub.
