Myself my wife, mMy mum and dad (sadly both
passed mum 1990 and dad 2025), my uncle Joe and my auntie Marilyn all went
to this pub for a right old south london knees up when our football team
Millwall got promoted to the then top flight league division one (now the
premier league) 1987/88 season. The pub was decked out in Millwalls blue and
white colours. All of us including mum and dad dancing on the tables, the
pub had a good old fashioned lock in and we got home in the wee small hours.
Full of beer, joy and good spirit. |
