The Kings Arms was situated on Main Street. This grade-II listed pub closed c1994 and is now used as a private house.
 

 
Listed building details:
Public house. Early C18, possibly earlier. Partly coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and timber lintels; plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys plus attics. 2-window front, with irregular fenestration of 2-light casements and sashes, has a blocked central doorway with C20
stone-slated canopy. Right bay breaks forward slightly with very large quoins. Both gables have projecting stone chimneys, stepped to left gable, and have later rubble outshuts. Rear wing, to left, has 3-light casements. Interior: Open fireplace with chamfered bressumer
