Review from tantallon.org.uk:
Yeoman Bitter £1.80
ABC Bitter £1.80
Burton Ale £1.80
Samuel Allsopp's Winterfold Ale £1.90
Guinness £2.00
Dry Blackthorn Cider £2.10
Bailey's £1.50 (12.xii.97)
The above is just a short version of the rather enormous range - it's the biggest range I've seen in or near Oxford (bigger than the Turf), and it's rotated regularly. There's lots of tables with beaten copper tops, a small garden (regrettably no panoramic views), and a very friendly barman. The servings come in glasses which leave plenty of room for the head, and the barman will fill the glasses up to the brim without charging a penny extra, which is good. (Thanks to Henry Braun for pointing this out.)
If you're into that sort of thing, there's a jukebox running at 10p a shot, a mini pool table with three chalks and a good number of tipped cues in good condition. I'd strongly recommend this place. Buses to Garsington (from Oxford) go every two hours.
It also does food at prices closer to restaurant than pub. (12.xii.97)
