The Plough closed in 1966. This grade-II listed pub is now in residential use.

Listed building details:
Public house, now house. Early/mid C18. Marlstone rubble with squared dressings and timber lintels; Welsh-slate roof with stone and brick gable stacks. Central-stair plan with rear wings. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window front has a central 4-panel door, with rectangular overlight, between 16-pane sashes; three 2-light casements at first floor. End walls have gable parapets with shaped kneelers, the right stack projects and there is a bread-oven projection to left. Similar rear wing returns from left, and a lower range with casements projects to left from it. Interior: large open fireplace with timber bressumer. In use as a public house until 1966.
