The White Hart was situated at 21 Cornmarket. This pub was known as the Globe in 1658 when it opened, It was then renamed The White Hart & Greyhound, and Greyhound, before becoming the White Hart in 1846. The original White Hart was demolished in 1901 and replaced with a new building, which became a restaurant in the first decade of the 20th century. That building was demolished in 1939. The site is now occupied by a branch of Next.
