Queens Head   Former Prime Minister Herbert Asquith had a property 'The Wharf', built on the site of this pub in 1913, where he eventually died.  
Southport Arms   1 The Lane.  In 1932, the Sutton Courtenay Angling Club (SCAC) was formed at the pub to retain local fishing for local anglers at the nearby Thames.
