The Ringers

The Ringers was situated on the High Street. This grade-II listed pub is now used as the Fat Duck restaurant.
Listed building details:
Cottage, now public house. Late C16, altered early C19 and C20. Timber framed encased in brick, part tile hanging. Old tile gabled roof adjoining Nos. 1 and 2 Oldfield Cottages on the left, listed separately (22/14). Rectangular plan with later extensions at rear. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Centre ridge chimney with offset head and clay pots. Entrance (west) front: symmetrical. Black painted plinth. 5 bays. Sash windows with glazing bars with segmental heads on ground floor. C20 entrance door in older opening in third bay. Tile hung gable on south. Interior: some timber frame visible.
